🌱 Three Pillars Heart Mapping
🌱 Three Pillars Heart Mapping
Sensing, weaving, and belonging through creative relationship
There are moments when experience gathers in the heart before it becomes something shared.
A sense of care.
A feeling of connection.
A spark of energy moving toward expression.
These experiences carry information about how we are in relationship—with ourselves, with others, and with the living world.
Heart mapping offers a way to stay with this movement and allow it to take form.
🌿 The Heart as a Place of Knowing
The heart holds more than emotion.
It registers connection, meaning, and value.
It responds to what feels alive, engaging, or important.
When attention rests here, awareness begins to organize around what matters.
Creative expression, joy, and community often arise together.
They move through the same field of relationship, shaping how we participate in the world around us.
Bringing these into form allows them to be seen and felt more clearly.
🌊 Creativity as Movement
Creativity in this practice moves from inner sensing into outward expression.
A color may carry a feeling.
A shape may reflect a sense of expansion or connection.
A word may arise from something recently experienced or remembered.
The page becomes a place where these elements meet.
There is movement between parts of the map:
from one area of attention to another
from one feeling into another
from one relationship into a wider field
This movement reflects how experience naturally flows.
🌱 Joy and Community as Living Processes
Joy often appears in moments of connection.
It may show up as warmth, lightness, or energy.
It may move through color, gesture, or pattern.
Community is felt through relationship:
shared experience
mutual support
a sense of being part of something larger
Within the heart map, these are not separate ideas.
They interweave.
A line may connect one area to another.
Colors may overlap.
Words may sit between spaces.
This reflects how creativity, joy, and community are experienced in daily life—through interaction and exchange.
🧭 Weaving Relationship
As the map develops, connections become more visible.
Attention moves across the page.
Patterns begin to form.
Relationships between different aspects of experience come forward.
This can support a clearer sense of:
where energy is present
where connection feels strong
where something is asking for attention
The act of mapping brings these elements into relationship with one another.
🌍 A Practice That Supports Everyday Life
Heart mapping can be used across many contexts:
in classrooms to support reflection and expression
in community spaces to explore shared and individual experience
in personal practice as a way of checking in and reconnecting
in environmental work as a way of understanding relationship to place and community
The process is flexible.
It meets people at different points of experience.
🧡 Living with the Map
Once created, the map can be returned to.
It can be viewed again later in the day or week.
New connections may become visible over time.
It can also support small, practical shifts:
bringing more attention to creative expression
making space for moments of joy
reaching toward connection with others
The map becomes a reference point for how relationship is being lived.
🌿 Closing
Within this practice, the heart becomes visible through color, shape, and word.
Experience gathers.
Connection takes form.
Relationship becomes something that can be seen and felt.
The map holds a moment in time.
It also continues to live through how you move, create, and connect beyond the page.
